Jim Wendler FAQs
Jimwendler.com Return Policy?
At Jimwendler.com, they value every purchase made from their store and are happy to make sure customers have just the right size in their new training apparel. For returns and exchanges, customers are asked to have their order number ready and email them at wendlerstore@gmail.com.
As for the shipping policy, orders are taken before the books/shirts are printed. Customers receive a discount because of their enthusiasm, support and also to compensate for the longer wait time. Books/shirts are then printed to fulfill the orders. After the books are printed they ship out in the order they were received. Customers receive a shipment confirmation with their tracking number. The tracking number will remain dormant until the package is on the way. All items in an order will ship together. This is the most efficient way to get everyone their order without mistakes. The expected ship date is usually communicated to the customers.

Tell me more about Jim Wendler.
Jim Wendler is an American powerlifter, strength coach, and author who has made a significant impact on the world of fitness. He started his career as an assistant coach with Westside Barbell in Columbus, Ohio. Wendler is the creator and author of the 5/3/1 Training Program, a popular powerlifting program that has been used by millions of athletes and lifters of all ages and abilities. His website offers books, apparel, gear, and a private forum for his followers. He played football and graduated from the University of Arizona where he was a three-time letter winner. His 5/3/1 program is designed around methodically taking you through several training blocks of escalating intensity — training the big lifts with a singular focus of building up your tonnage. The hallmark feature after which the routine is named involves performing a set of five reps, then three, then one single rep on the main compound movements. Wendler advises adding 10 pounds every 3 weeks to your training maxes of the squat and deadlift, while you kick up your bench and overhead press weights by five pounds. Your training max is a “soft maximum” that is roughly 90% of your true 1-rep capabilities. 5/3/1 also provides regular deloads every seventh week so you don’t overdo it when you’re pushing yourself through lots of heavy compound training. Notably, 5/3/1 was designed to allow more freedom than just being a geared powerlifting specialist, with considerations for general conditioning and overall muscle mass that are beneficial outside of a monolift.
